Our main Halloween event was the trunk or treat at the church and Cohen didnt much care for it. Too many people and way to loud. He kept taking our hands and leading us out of the crowded gym to the door:) It was mostly for me i guess I want him to have all the Halloween experiences but he really is still too young to understand. Is it just here or does no one trick or treat anymore? We havent gotten one tricker treater in the three years we have lived here.

I love cowboy Cohen. I think its the area. The mall does trick or treating also.
That is surprising that you haven't gotten any trick or treaters where you live as everyone lives so close. Out of the 6 or so years we have lived in our house, we have had 1 or 2 trick or treaters. There are some areas which are full of trick or treaters (we take our boys to another neighborhood where a lot of kids go). Both in Johnson City and Elizabethton, though, there are organized trick or treating like the mall (and simply downtown area) so I would guess that would take away from a lot of kids going to homes. These days it may be better just to go to businesses... it's during the day and less chance to that mystery candy.
