Knoxville Zoo Again
So this weekend we went back to zoo this time we went as a family. Cohen is older now and had tons of fun! He loved all the animals and they had lots of fun things for kids too! The Gorilla and baby chimp were our favorite Cohen really liked the bear. He kept saying "moo moo" for all the animals. They had an indoor center for kids with a play market, ice cream and pizza parlor, farm, safari table, etc it was so cute and Cohen was in heaven. They also had a out play area and petting zoo Cohen got to brush the goats.
Mud Run
Last weekend i ran a 5k mud run and obstacle course with some of my friends. It was insane crazy hard running up the side of a mountain, over barrels of hay, through tires and through the worst mud i have ever seen! I was really fun too though we all felt a sense of pride and accomplishment when we were done
Bear Lake
My parents had planned to take us to Bear Lake the weekend after Yellowstone. Well our plan to go camping and jet skiing at Bear Lake didnt really turn out how we would have liked. We had a few fun hours playing on the beach before a really bad storm rolled in. It stormed all night and the next day was windy and unseasonably cold. So we were forced to pack up camp.
Yellowstone Teton
Erik and I had our first Cohen free getaway! I was so nervous to leave him I wasn't even looking for to it. We went with our good friends Taurean and Jenn. We took a little camper and camped in the Tetons. It turned out to be such a fun trip and Cohen did so well with grandma and grandpa. We saw old faithful of course swam in the firehole river and went canoeing in Jenny Lake!
Orchard
My dad's calling is working at the peach orchard in pleasant view. Cohen had a blast playing on the fork lift and riding in the cabota. Aggie of course had fun running free or laying in shade.
Cohen had fun spending time had both grandmas and grandpas and cousins. I dont have very many pictures of Utah because they are all on the grandparents camera. We did lots of fun things like going to see the trains at Union station, going to dinosaur park, throwing rocks in the river, seeing the cows with grandpa, playing with Charlie the cat. Charlie was the most patient cat i have ever seen.
Utah
Ok so it has been a long while since I have updated. The longer i wait the harder it is for me want to post. We spent all of August and the first week of September in Utah. Erik is in has last year of Pharmacy school! His last year is a series of rotations getting experience in a variety of settings. So no more classes and no more tests! He had a six week break so we decided to spend it in Utah so we could visit family and Erik wanted to work at the pharmacy he plans to work at after he graduates. I flew with Cohen and Erik took the long drive with Aggie.
