There was a swinging bridge that made the peak accessible. There was quite the drop off on both sides. Aggie walked across the bridge very cautiously, paws were spread as far as they could go and back legs were shaking a bit. He loved the rock climbing though and all the attention he was receiving from other tourists. The view from the top was amazing.
Grandfather Mountain also holds a wildlife preserve. With white tail deer, cougars, bald eagles, sea otters, and black bears. Our favorite were the black bears who were eager to show off in order to score a few treats from visitors.

Visting grandfather mountain was our first little adventure upon returning to TN. It was definately worth the 45 mile trip to Linville, North Carolina to see it. Grandfather Mountain is the highest peak in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

New Addition

New Stewart baby is due in February! Baby is now 14 weeks. This is pic of baby at 12 weeks. We don't know the gender yet but are hoping to find out within the next 4 weeks or so. We welcome suggestions for baby names!

Aggie all grown up.

Aggie is one now and getting very big. He misses being spoiled by grandpas and grandmas in Utah. He is settling back in and is excited for the the new addition to the Stewart family

Basement

After a spring break of hard work the basement was finally completed. Specially thanks to Erik and handyman dad.

Condo in TN

We were pleased to find our condo still intact upon arrival in Johnson City. We even found we had a little more grass in our backyard and our foliage had become quite unruly. For those of you that haven't made it out to TN to visit here are a few pics of our place.

Back in Green TN

We have arrived back in TN after spending a summer with friends and family in Utah. We survived a long 28 hour drive with little to complain about. We start the beginning of new school year with mixed feelings. We miss everyone and feel a little lonely all the away across the country. We are glad to be in our own house and good to see familiar faces in the ward. We are glad to be back in the swing of things and eager to establish a routine once again.
