Two weeks ago Erik asked me if I wanted to go camping with Cohen in a city 5 hours away. My first response was "are you kidding me!, Do you realize how much work that would be?" First of all Cohen had never been a away from home, Cohen dislikes his carseat, what do we do with the dog, and I am still providing milk via a pump. All inconveniences that may make our "vacation" not so vacation like. But the more we discussed it and both of us feeling in real need of a "vacation" we decided to go a ahead and do it.
Oh and we had to coordinate with friends who also had a 3 month old baby. Seemed like mission impossible to me.
But to my surprise everything went relatively well. The worst part of the trip, which we did not consider, was the humidity! Camping in the humidity, yuck. We felt so sticky and wet all the time. And poor Lance and Ariel their tent leaked the first night. Thank goodness for driers and showers. Their was also a little restaurant melt down from the Cohen bug, but other than that we had a good time and the babies slept really well!

That looks like a really fun trip. I wish you lived by us so we could take a trip together!!! I feel the same way, trips always seem like way too much work with kids, but once you get there it is totally worth it. My phone is broken but when I get a new one I will give you a call! Do you have any Utah plans now that summer is here? Cohen is super cute too! I can't wait to see him.
