Hilton Head Island Vacation

Well we bit the bullet and went on a well overdue vacation, and boy was it exceptional! Our trip primarily consisted of time on the beach in a beautiful island off the South Carolina coast, called Hilton Head. The water was warm, the sand was soft, and the weather was perfect. Our Hotel was right on the beach with some nice amenities, so it made for a great time. We saw a neat lighthouse, went to an animal petting zoo (Cohen thought the goats were weird) and we even checked out Savannah Ga for part of a day. We did very little relaxing though, because our little Cohen didn't realize vacations are for relaxing he thought that vacation time meant more time playing, never stop moving, and always if possible being in the water! He loved it! (The first picture is Cohen on the way home :) -Theres a few videos at the end, one of the C-man playing in the ocean, and one of him making his dad very proud as he says "basketball"

New Floors

I don't deserve my parents. They are too good to me. Back in March my mom and dad came out and my dad put new floors in on our main level. The cheap beige carpet was turning gray and i was tired of scrubbing peanut butter and jelly out of the carpet everyday. I love my new floor! The weather was horrible the week they were here so it was disappointing we weren't able to do much.

Same Pout

Tantrum

This is what Cohen looks like when he doesn't get his way. His fetish for containers with lids as not been resolved yet. Sometimes he wants to take lids of everything in the fridge. I have to draw the line some where. Notice the lip it comes out and all hell brakes loose.

Sink Bath

This is part of Cohen's bed time routine. It is so much easier than filling the big tub and getting all the bath toys out. I don't know what i am going to do once he doesn't fit. I know he already doesn't fit.

Knoxville Zoo

A couple of weeks ago I took Cohen to the zoo for the first time. He loved it. He loves animals anyway its a perfect place for the crazy little coco puff. Cohen makes the best monkey noises around and chicken noises for that matter. Sometimes he knows what a doggie says and sometimes a doggie says the same thing as a monkey:)
I went with my best girls and even rode a camel!

For the love of peanut butter

Cohen LOVES peanut butter. I don't know if i was using my best judgment by giving him the whole jar, but sometimes in order to get dinner made i resort to drastic measures to keep him occupied.

Spring Swimmin' Fun!!

Cohen is really enjoying this warm Tennessee weather. He insists on going out no less than 8 times day!! He is all boy, all he wants to do is play in the dirt, run around, climb on things, and play in water. No matter where the water is Cohen wants to be playing in it. He is such a energetic little machine, he literally never stops going. He is so much fun, we are so lucky to be parents to such a wonderful, fun, happy little boy!! We just wish he would stop growing up so fast, already 1 year 2 months old!! Crazy!!!

The Day After

The day after Cohen's birthday. I had one of my friends over and we were all enjoying some birthday cake. Well Cohen I remind you did not take one bite of cake at either party. But on this day he kept pointing at the cake so I set him in his chair give him a good sized piece if cake and a spatula of course. I go in the kitchen and come back out and this is what i find.....
Aggie enjoying some pink icing

All Cohen wanted to do was stab the cake with the spatula.

This little boy loves balls, vacuums, and anything he can climb on. So he was happy with his new football, his mini dirt devil, and his big boy chair/bed.

Feeding Aggie wrapping paper
We had another little party just the three of us on Valentines Day Cohen's actual birthday.
My attempt at cake decorating. I know. But in my defense I don't have any cake decorating supplies. This is called sandwich bags with a hole cut in the corner.
